We will also celebrate God's transformative work in UCSD students' lives with a baptism service, as Cory and Zoe will be baptized this Sunday! Afterward we'll have a happy celebration with a picnic and BBQ lunch! 🎉

Easter, also known as Resurrection Day 🎉🙌, is a celebration that commemorates the day that Jesus rose from the dead, showing his victory 🏆🏵️ over the power of death and sin and proving that we have the promise of eternal life with God! Christians throughout the world celebrate by attending church services ⛪, singing songs of worship to God 🎹🎺🎶, and thanking God for the amazing gift 🎁 of our salvation.

This year, our Easter service will be streamed online 🖥️ on Sunday 4/4 at 12 PM PDT at gpinternational.online.church. In addition to the Easter service, we’ll also be celebrating the baptism ⛪🌊 of several members in our SoCal international community, so make sure you don’t miss out!

Good Friday is the day that Christians commemorate Jesus’ crucifixion ✝️ and death. Though it may seem strange, Christians call this day “Good” because, on that day, Jesus died on the cross to pay the cost of our sin and to free us from the power of sin and evil in our lives. Traditionally, Christians gather on Good Friday to think about the meaning of the cross and reflect on the cost of our sin and the price of our forgiveness.

This Sunday, March 14, at 2:00 AM is "Spring Forward" - which means daylight saving time in California will begin for 2021. Our phones and computers should automatically update to the correct time, but we will have to manually change the clocks around our homes. ⏰ Don't get the time confused! @-@. We will "lose" one hour of sleep this weekend. But it's spring break, so hopefully students will have plenty of time to catch up on sleep. 😴

The Lunar New Year is almost here! Celebrate with us as we have a virtual celebration, with games, insightful discussion, and welcome the Year of the Ox with hope. We will count our blessings and welcome the new year with gratitude. 🧧
