With many recent events including the death of George Floyd causing a lot of concerns, anxieties, and turmoil, we wanted to have a time for people to understand what has been going on. We will be taking a break from our normal bible studies and instead watching a series of videos regarding the following:

• George Floyd's mother and daughter recounting the painful personal loss of their son and father

• How the George Floyd tragedy is not an isolated event, but everyday reality for African Americans living in America today

• Tracing the root of the African American struggle in society today from slavery to a system that encourages mass incarceration

• The reality African American face in the working world and corporate America today
